Dates for Filing Chart

Found on the monthly Visa Bulletin, these are the earliest dates that visa applicants may submit an Adjustment of Status (AOS) with USCIS. These typically are 8-12 months prior to the expected Final Action Dates and can allow applicants to apply for and obtain work authorization much sooner than if they had to wait for the priority date to be current under the relevant Final Action Date.
